Pennywise, often referred to as "It," is a shapeshifting entity and the primary antagonist in Stephen King's horror novel and subsequent adaptations.
His most recognizable form is that of a clown, used to lure children before preying on their fears and ultimately devouring them. This form is known as Pennywise the Dancing Clown.
